Job Summary
Rates Middle Office – Analyst/Associate responsible for timely and accurate capture of trades in risk management systems, performing intraday and end-of-day checks, reconciliations, and controls; collaborating with trading and support teams to resolve queries and strengthen processes; contributing to strategic initiatives to improve architecture and automation; developing deep knowledge of trading structures and risk controls; and communicating clearly with cross-functional teams to support clients and market integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in Operations roles within Investment Banking industry
- Knowledge of derivatives and hedging products (including Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps, FRA, Foreign Exchange, OIS, bonds, futures)
- Business Proficiency in Japanese and English
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ownership
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented with adaptability
