Job Summary
Control Manager - NA Rates & FIF Trading (VP) oversees and governs the control environment for North America Rates & FIF trading, driving risk identification, control design/evaluation, issue management, and governance. Responsibilities include leading control forums with executives, identifying and remediating control gaps, executing analytical deep dives, facilitating Supervisory attestations, preparing for audits/regulatory exams, escalating incidents, and promoting consistent operational risk practices across trading products and activities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong communication, data synthesis, change management experience, and a background in Markets Sales or Trading and financial services controls/compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience in writing action plans, procedures, and change management
- Deep understanding of Markets Sales or Trading businesses
- Experience in operations, operational risk management, business controls, sales, trading, audit, technology, business management, or compliance in a sophisticated global banking environment
