Job Summary
Process monthly rates installments for a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail properties, preparing CHAPS payments and managing shared inbox queries. Communicate directly with property managers and councils via email and phone to ensure timely processing, discussing individual cases and understanding business rates, council tax, and BID Levies. Collaborate with the rates payable and Property Management teams to support the Senior Accounts Payable Administrator while maintaining internal and client KPIs. Work closely with colleagues across the accounting team and wider business to deliver a best-in-class service.
Required Qualifications
- Math's & English G.C.S.E 9-4/A-C
- Good Numeracy Skills
- IT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- A proactive, practical, and positive approach to work
- Excellent and professional communication skills
- The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Prioritisation skills
- Good team working skills
- A desire to learn and develop within your role
