Job Summary
Rate Specialist coordinating the vendorization rate process and serving as the rate resource for the agency. Responsible for reviewing vendor applications and documentation, updating rates within regulatory guidelines, maintaining service codes per Title 17 regulations, implementing rate changes due to mandated adjustments, liaising with DDS Rates and Fiscal Compliance, acting as a rate information resource within the agency, and supporting interdepartmental collaboration between fiscal and community services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business, at least five years of relevant experience, strong communication, project management, and advanced Excel/Word skills. Also notes use of an automobile and provision of standard benefits including healthcare, pension, and flexible schedules with select hybrid positions.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum five years of increasingly related responsible experience
- Excellent communication skills for internal/external interactions
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
