Job Summary
Field-based Genentech role focused on Rare Blood Disorder ecosystem within the NY Metropolitan area, serving healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, patients/caregivers, and patient advocacy groups. responsible for driving clinical demand, delivering education to healthcare providers on product information, dosing, and administration per FDA guidelines, collaborating with specialty pharmacies, empowering patients and advocacy groups with resources, and identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. Requires significant travel and driving, with accounts located in Philadelphia, NJ (north including Newark), and Delaware, and a preference that candidates reside in the territory. The role involves mobilizing ecosystem and TA squad resources to partner with customers and address clinical, educational, and business goals, and representing Genentech products ethically and professionally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree at minimum
- 6 or more years of experience in a sales role with HCPs
- cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences engaging with payers, health systems, etc.
- strong coaching/training/mentoring capability
- ability to communicate clinical and product information and address operational issues in healthcare product delivery including reimbursement and supply
