Rapid Response Nurse

Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms or condition changes, including MEWS alert notifications. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient status. Make periodic daily rounds to inpatient clinical areas. Provide educational opportunities to meet facility continuing education requirements. Modify patient treatment plans based on patient responses and conditions. Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments. This role supports the Rapid Response Team's mission to provide assessment, early intervention, and stabilization to prevent clinical deterioration. You will operate within the Tennessee Board of Nursing scope of practice in a critical care environment.
