Rapid Response Nurse - Full time - Mercy Jefferson

As a Rapid Response Nurse in a full-time role, you will serve as a Critical Care Coordinator and liaison across the continuum, coordinating with physicians, pharmacists, ancillary and case management to support time-critical care (e.g., sepsis) in Emergency, step-down, and ICU-adjacent areas. You will collaborate with nursing and physician staff, mentor teammates, assist with triage and coordination of patients, and may act as a scribe during sepsis activations, all while upholding Mercy mission, values, and service standards. The role emphasizes leadership, adaptability in a changing environment, and the ability to promote high-quality clinical outcomes through evidence-based practice.
