Rapid Rehousing Housing Navigator collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to gather guest information, conduct comprehensive housing assessments, and develop individualized housing plans. The role facilitates client-driven housing searches, identifies traditional and non-traditional housing opportunities, and connects clients to behavioral health resources and income-maximization services. Responsibilities include completing intakes, coordinating entry assessments, addressing barriers to housing, helping clients apply for apartments, negotiating with landlords, coordinating inspections and lease reviews, cultivating relationships with property managers and community housing resources, maintaining HMIS documentation, and meeting agency outcomes. Strong advocacy, relationship-building with government agencies, landlords, and community partners, and familiarity with housing subsidy programs and move-in processes are essential.
