Job Summary
Ranger responsible for controlling the pace of play and maintaining the flow on the golf course while delivering a welcoming guest experience. Duties include providing first-contact hospitality, sharing course information and rules, promoting course maintenance practices (divot repair sand, ball marks, bunker raking), moving through the course in reverse order for safety, enforcing no outside coolers or glass bottles, coordinating with the Pro Shop to keep operations smooth, keeping work areas clean, and assisting other positions to ensure guest satisfaction. Requires strong customer service, clear communication, safety awareness, the ability to stand long hours, flexible weekend/holiday availability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn from management.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult people or situations in a positive and diplomatic manner
- Must be safety conscious and knowledgeable about the game of golf
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from management
