Job Summary
Start golfers on time per the daily tee sheet and maintain pace of play through routine trips around the course. Pair up golfers to create foursomes, monitor guests for policy adherence, and perform daily checks of course water coolers for cleanliness. Remove refuse, monitor course conditions to report needed maintenance, and assist Golf Attendants with staging carts and transporting bags. Provide service to internal and external customers reflecting the S.T.A.R. culture while immediately reporting any gaming violations to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor. Requires a valid state driver's license, knowledge of the game, and ability to operate company vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a golf ranger/starter
- knowledge of the game
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to deal respectfully and professionally with the public
- Good communication skills
- Able to operate company vehicles
- Valid state driver's license
