Job Summary
Sort, stack, and pile lumber; handle and lift materials; operate production equipment as assigned. Assist processing workers and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sawmill equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly. Adhere strictly to safety standards, including lock-out procedures and pre-task hazard assessments, while standing for extended periods. Perform repetitive tasks in an industrial manufacturing environment during day and night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Availability to perform day and night shifts as needed
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work on repetitive tasks
- Ability to work as a positive team member
- Strong commitment to following all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and taking precautions to maintain a safe work environment
