Job Summary
Supervise safe shooting activities and range operations for all customers and staff by monitoring lane activity, enforcing Standard Operating Procedures, and assisting with lane and target operation. Provide range orientation for new shooters, promote instructional programs, and maintain facility sanitation while filling trap machines and ordering targets. Communicate professionally with members and associates, manage difficult customer situations, and execute emergency response plans when required. Maintain a well-groomed appearance, adhere to safety protocols, and attend mandatory training including the NRA Certified Range Officer course. Work an open schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends to meet operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21-years-old
- Firearm experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work an open schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends
- Regular attendance
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to taste or smell
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to crawl
- Must be able to sit occasionally
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses
- Must be able to work in wet and/or humid conditions
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in outside weather conditions
- Must be able to work in extreme cold
- Must be able to work in extreme heat
- Must be able to work with risk of electrical shock
- Must be able to work with noise level usually moderate to loud
- Must be clean-shaven
