Job Summary
Operate machinery, assemble products, and maintain equipment in a clean food safety environment using Standard Operating Procedures and ISO guidelines. Inspect parts for accuracy, perform preventative maintenance, and execute troubleshooting for product failures while adhering to safety rules and personal protective equipment. Manage inventory, clean manufacturing equipment after runs, and record batch data and production metrics. Participate in process improvements, label and palletize products, and assist with material handling operations. Work onsite shifts, including 1st and 3rd shifts, with a starting pay of $21+/hr. Join a team dedicated to protecting the world's food supply from farm gate to dinner plates.
Required Qualifications
- High school education
- GED equivalent
- applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
- Stamina to work 12 hour shifts
- 3.5 days per week
- overtime as needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Committed to working and communicating in a team environment
- Must communicate effectively with others by speaking, reading, and understanding written English
- ability to write legibly in English
- High school diploma, GED equivalent or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum tenure of 1 year in the Machine Operator I position is required to be met before consideration for promotion to the next position level: Machine Operator II
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess experience working in a food or feed manufacturing facility for a minimum of six months
