Ramp Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise lead agents and allocate ramp resources while moving cargo, baggage, and freight on and off commercial aircraft and between terminals. Operate motorized equipment and small specialized vehicles, reading aircraft weight and balance instructions and hazardous material labels. Ensure personnel adhere to safety regulations, conduct shift briefings, and mentor new employees. Complete shift reports, sign timecards, and assist in preparing performance evaluations and disciplinary reports. This role requires prior ramp experience, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to lift 70lbs repetitively in all weather conditions. Candidates must pass drug screens, FBI background checks, and obtain a US Customs Seal, with availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Ramp/Airline experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
- Must have high school diploma, GED
- Must have read and signed the Station Quality Manual, Emergency Response Procedures Manual and the Station Security Manual
