Job Summary
Ramp Shift Managers are responsible for establishing safety policies and procedures, overseeing compliance with regulatory agencies, conducting audits, and instilling safety awareness among employees. They coordinate staffing efforts, manage operational supplies, review payroll, monitor operational irregularities, and ensure adherence to facility and uniform guidelines. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead meetings with staff and customers.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Ramp Operation
- Ability to read, fluently speak, and understand the English language
- Must possess good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality in person and via telephone
- Must have basic computer experience (6 months+) and type at least 35 words per minute
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be free of disqualifying crimes and able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off
