Job Summary
Ramp Service Agent responsible for under-wing tasks to keep flights moving safely and efficiently, including loading/offloading luggage and cargo with conveyors or forklifts, transporting items to airport locations, maintaining ramp/warehouse areas, and marshalling aircraft. Requires ability to interpret flight schedules, maintain a fast-paced work tempo, adapt to procedures, and communicate in English; must be able to obtain required clearances and maintain good attendance. Role is union-represented with starting pay around $22.58/hour, with comprehensive benefits and eligibility for bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid unexpired driver's license (US state/territory/DC)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays
- Ability to learn flight schedules and aviation terminology
