Job Summary
Ramp Safety Officer responsible for overseeing ramp, ground, and transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient workflows; enforce safety policies and SOPs in line with airport, airline, and regulatory requirements; supervise and coach drivers; verify proper airport IDs and permits; deliver safety training; monitor operations to identify hazards; conduct inspections and risk assessments; investigate incidents and prepare preventative action reports; and contribute to a strong safety-first culture. The role requires coordinating with airport authorities, TSA/OSHA/DOT compliance, and maintaining high operational standards in a dynamic hospitality-oriented airside environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field
- Valid Driver's license
- All airport-related positions require airport security clearance process per TSA/49 CFR §1542.209 and airport-issued badges (SIDA/AOA or equivalent)
- Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills
- Hands-on and proactive work ethic
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
