Job Summary
Lead and participate in cargo and baggage movement on and off aircraft, transporting items between aircraft, terminals, and air cargo facilities. Safely lift up to 70 lbs of cargo, operate motorized equipment, and read aircraft weight and balance load sheets, hazardous material labels, and loading manifests. Ensure safe receipt and dispatch of assigned flights while maintaining load integrity and safety compliance. Assist other ramp agents to ensure duties are performed professionally and efficiently according to company standards. Train employees during on-the-job training or assign tasks to experienced agents. Requires prior ramp or airline experience, a current driver's license, and availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Ramp Agent
- Ability to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test
- Proficient ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years
- Capability to safely lift up to 70 lbs. continuously
- Availability and flexibility to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Comfort working in all weather conditions
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required Airport security badge
- Prior Ramp/Airline experience
