Job Summary
Ramp Laborer for a client in Currie, NC. Temp-to-Hire role with pay of $18/hour. Duties include preparing surfaces and containers for painting, scraping paint from containers, wiping surfaces for paint prep, wearing PPE daily, assisting with final prep, clean-up, and shipping, climbing ladders/scaffolds, and operating a forklift. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:30 PM (40 hours/week) with occasional mandatory overtime. Requirements include forklift certification or 1-2 years of sit-down forklift experience, ability to read/write/communicate clearly, readiness to lift up to 75 lbs, comfort with solvents, ability to wear steel toe boots, and a strong team-oriented work ethic. Required Qualifications
- Recent Forklift Certification or recent 1-2 years of Sit Down Forklift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet
- Must provide and wear your own Steel Toe Boots
- Comfortable working with solvents
- Strong work ethics and team-oriented attitude
