Job Summary
Sort, load, and unload baggage, freight, and equipment from aircraft while towing, marshalling, and de-icing. Tow and marshall aircraft, drive fuel equipment, and service lavatories. Perform physically demanding tasks like installing seats, cleaning airside areas, and operating forklifts. Ensure on-time performance policies are met and adhere to safety procedures. Communicate effectively with the Ramp Supervisor and Aircraft Load Coordinator. Monitor customer safety and provide courteous assistance with manifests and warehouse duties. Work various shifts in multiple environments, including outdoor weather conditions, with travel by aircraft as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Must possess valid driver's license
- Must qualify for and obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- In good general health and able to lift and bend, carrying loads of up to 50lbs
- Must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
- Various shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse and/or Ramp experience
- Previous aviation operation experience
- Forklift license or completed applicable training
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training
