Job Summary

Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure, unload passenger luggage, air cargo, wheelchairs, and child strollers onto carts or dollies, and deliver cargo to appropriate recipients. Operate ground support equipment including tow tractors, baggage tugs, water/lavatory service trucks, and aircraft ground power units. Collect and load mail, live animals, and special handling items onto aircraft while servicing aircraft water and lavatories. Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris and remove or dispose of when found. Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier security requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Good command of the English language both verbal and written
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather
  • Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Excellent Health & Safety awareness
  • Lift heavy objects that could reach 70 pounds (32 kilograms)

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous ramp experience is a plus
