Job Summary
Ramp Agent role on a full-time basis responsible for loading/unloading cargo and baggage, guiding aircraft to/from gates, and maintaining accurate loading records. Duties include lifting up to 70 lbs, operating motorized equipment, reading weight/balance/manifest instructions, identifying hazardous material labels, and following safety and security procedures. Requires 18+ years old, high school diploma or GED (or ramp experience), valid driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment drug testing, and willingness to work variable shifts outdoors in all weather. Based in Alcoa, TN with on-site work obligations; starting pay $17.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have high school diploma, GED, or six months ramp agent experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing including a drug test
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs continuously
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record for past 5 years
- Must be available for variable shifts including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to obtain required airport and customs badges/seals
- Prior ramp experience is a plus
