Job Summary
Lift and move up to 70 lbs of cargo and baggage on and off commercial aircraft, operating small specialized vehicles and motorized equipment. Perform frequent bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, stacking, and kneeling in confined spaces while conducting physical searches of aircraft interiors and exteriors to detect prohibited articles. Remove and replace blankets and pillows, ensuring cleaning solvents are stored correctly and equipment remains in working order. Deposit soiled linens into laundry bins and maintain a secure work environment by providing ramp guard services and adhering to TSA, airline, and federal security mandates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test
- Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously
- Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English proficiently
- Must have current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals
