Job Summary
Entry-level RAM Applications Engineer role within Micron's RAM Applications team in High Volume Manufacturing (HVM), stationed in Taiwan remotely supporting the newest Fab in Idaho. You will develop Optical inspection techniques and recipes (eScan, Brightfield, Darkfield, Macro, SP) to quantify wafer fabrication performance, monitor process health, and collaborate with process integration, data science, and yield analysis teams to drive KPI improvements. Responsibilities include developing inspection recipes, leveraging new RDA equipment, identifying process anomalies, and translating insights into improvements while supporting cross-functional teams across sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or related field; or 5–10 years of relevant experience in RDA/Metrology, HVM, or Technology Development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions for accurate and precise inspection within semiconductor manufacturing.
- Willingness and ability to learn and apply foundational data science and data manipulation techniques (e.g., scripting, coding, programming).
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English.
