Job Summary
Implement a collaborative activist coordination program and lead leadership development programming for PPRM activists across Larimer and Weld counties. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for issue advocacy, managing phone banking, canvassing, and community events while building relationships with coalition partners. Serve as a liaison between stakeholder constituencies and the Public Affairs department, tracking qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure program impact. Provide support for existing organizing programs and legislative activities, ensuring sustainable growth for reproductive rights advocacy within Northern Colorado. Collaborate with PPFA Raíz staff to bridge access gaps for the Latinx community through targeted local initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- deep experience living or working in Latinx or immigrant communities in the U.S.
- experience in recruiting, managing, and retaining activists
- strong people skills and are able to build relationships with community partners and activists
- an understanding of the importance of intersectionality in organizing
- approach your work through a racial equity and inclusion lens
- can use video conferencing software like Zoom
- can use Microsoft Office programs to communicate remotely with teams and track data and goals
- a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and showing progress towards goals
- resides in Northern Colorado
- comfortable traveling regularly throughout Larimer and Weld counties
- commuting to Denver as needed
- traveling periodically to other parts of the PPRM region, including Wyoming and New Mexico
Desired Qualifications
- Being bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred
