Job Summary
Unload product from railcars at various company facilities and assist the plant foreperson with daily operations and upkeep. Perform general labor including shoveling, equipment maintenance, and welding or fabrication duties as required. Operate heavy equipment such as frontend loaders and skid steers while detecting and responding to safety hazards. Adhere strictly to OSHA, MSHA regulations, and company safety procedures. Travel to multiple locations including Kent, Copley, Twinsburg, Alliance, Cleveland, and Medina. Work day, afternoon, or midnight shifts, including weekends when necessary. Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel to multiple locations including: Kent, Copley, Twinsburg, Alliance, Cleveland and Medina
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Must be available for Day/Afternoon/Midnight shifts
- Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly
- Ability to follow directions
- General understanding of OSHA & MSHA regulations
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures
- Strict adherence to Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
- Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in rail or aggregate environments is a plus, but not required
