Job Summary
Railroad Crossing Technician responsible for applying vegetation control treatments at railroad crossings, operating spray trucks, using a weed eater and chainsaw, pulling and rolling long hoses, and completing end-of-day paperwork. Role requires driving between crossings, safety-focused execution, occasional travel, flexible hours (7am–4pm with 10–12 hour shifts, weekends possible), training provided, and opportunities for licensing and career development. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of clean driving history
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check for railroad property access
- Ability to travel 1-3 weeks at a time, home weekends except for 2-3 weeks of the entire season
