Job Summary
Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, utilizing mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge. Notify supervisors of any materials or equipment needed to ensure task completion while maintaining a clean work area. Adhere to all safety rules, ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and customer quality assurance standards. Complete any other duties as assigned. This role requires a valid driver's license or TWIC card depending on location, fluent English proficiency, and regular on-site attendance. Some weekends are required. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
