Job Summary
Railcar Repairman and Welder position performing repair, inspection, rebuilding, and service of freight cars in accordance with AAR, FRA, and railroad rules. Responsibilities include inspecting rolling stock for defects, removing/replacing defective components, operation of hand and power tools and welding equipment, and adhering to safety standards. Requires physical labor with frequent kneeling/bending, ability to work outdoors, and travel within the United States as needed. CDL is a plus; strong emphasis on safety, accuracy in reporting work performed, and readiness for on-call and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
