Job Summary
Railcar Repairman responsible for inspection, maintenance and repairs of rail cars in compliance with FRA and AAR regulations. Re-rail cars, estimate damages at derailment sites, and prepare repair billing cards. Identify AAR/FRA violations; read blueprints; perform repairs on railcars, and operate equipment (mobile cranes, wheel trucks, forklifts). Collaborates with other departments during derailment site operations and adheres to safety and regulatory requirements. Training for conductors, engineers, and MOW Team Members provided; opportunities for career advancement. Starting hourly pay $24.00.
