Job Summary
Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform repairs on railcars, heavy equipment, and tracks. Utilize mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge while notifying supervisors of required materials. Adhere to all safety rules, maintain a clean work area, and ensure AAR, ARS, and customer quality standards are met. Complete any other duties as assigned. Requires valid driver's license or TWIC card, fluent English, and regular on-site attendance. Some weekends required. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
