Job Summary
Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform repairs on railcars and heavy equipment using welding, cutting, and gouging techniques. Notify supervisors of required materials and equipment to ensure task completion while maintaining a clean work area. Adhere to all safety rules, ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and quality assurance standards for AAR, ARS, and customers. Complete any other assigned duties as needed. This role requires welding experience, a valid driver's license or TWIC card depending on location, and fluent English proficiency. Monday through Thursday schedule with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Welding experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid TWIC card
- 18 years or older
- Legally able to work in the U.S.
- Fluent English (speak, write, read)
- Regular on-site attendance
- Punctuality
