Job Summary
Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, utilizing mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge. Notify supervisors of necessary materials or equipment to ensure task completion while strictly adhering to safety rules, keeping work areas clean, and complying with environmental policies. Maintain AAR, ARS, and customer quality assurance standards and complete any other assigned duties. Valid driver's license or TWIC card may be required depending on location. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
