Railcar Repair Site Manager - Dixie Railcar

Oversee operations at RRA locations by supervising inspections, maintenance, and repair of rolling stock while managing crew members based on car flow. Lead onboarding and training for new staff, enforce safety protocols, and update SDOPs to reflect operational changes. Strategize crew scheduling to maximize efficiency, adjust labor needs, and monitor target hours reported by the estimating team. Coordinate with Director of Health and Safety and Quality to ensure compliance and maintain accurate records. Respond to emergencies like derailments, manage MRU call-outs, and collaborate with railroads on billing and purchasing. Monitor daily production averages and location efficiency to drive profitability.
