Railcar Repair Mechanic

Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, utilizing basic mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge. Notify supervisors of any materials or equipment needed to ensure task completion while maintaining a clean work area and strictly adhering to safety and environmental policies. Ensure all AAR, ARS, and customer quality assurance standards are met. Complete any other duties as assigned. Valid driver's license or TWIC card may be required depending on location. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Some weekends are required.
