Job Summary
Interprets job work orders and follows blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, utilizing mechanical skills to weld, cut, and gouge. Notifies supervisors of needed materials and equipment to ensure task completion while strictly adhering to safety rules, environmental policies, and quality assurance standards. Maintains a clean work area and completes assigned duties as directed. Valid driver's license or TWIC card may be required. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are mandatory. Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality
- valid Driver's License
- valid TWIC card
