Railcar Repair Mechanic

Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, weld, cut, and gouge using basic mechanical skills. Notify supervisors of any materials or equipment needed to ensure task completion. Adhere to all safety rules, maintain clean work areas, and comply with ARS Environmental Health and Safety Policies while meeting AAR, ARS, and customer quality assurance standards. Complete any other duties as assigned. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required. Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card may be needed depending on location.
