Railcar Repair Mechanic

Interpret job work orders and follow blueprints to perform required repairs on railcars, weld, cut, and gouge using basic mechanical skills. Notify supervisors of any materials or equipment needed to ensure task completion while maintaining a clean work area and complying with all safety policies. Ensure AAR, ARS, and customer quality assurance standards are met and complete any other duties as assigned. Valid driver's license or TWIC card may be required depending on location. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required.
