Job Summary
Seasonal Railcar Labourer role at RROX Aggregates/L Park Paving in Strathcona County. Responsibilities include unloading gravel from rail-cars, stockpiling aggregates, operating heavy equipment (skid steers, front-end loaders, stacking conveyors), inspecting hopper cars, installing securement devices, unloading via conveyor belts, general railcar maintenance, conveyor system maintenance, and snow removal. Must be able to work in a physically demanding, high-productivity environment and maintain safety-minded, team-oriented conduct. Requires a Class 5 driver’s license; training is provided for rail cars and heavy equipment. Benefits include health/dental/vision, life insurance, RRSP matching, and opportunities for advancement. Pay range $23-$26 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Class 5 drivers license
- Experience with Rail Cars is an asset; training will be provided
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steer, front-end loaders and stacking conveyors is an asset; training will be provided
