Job Summary

Inspect automobiles arriving and departing the railroad facility, checking unit numbers and documenting damage with timeliness and accuracy. Complete necessary paperwork on appropriate forms and computer systems while clearly communicating all incurred damage to a direct supervisor. Oversee performance inspections to maintain a safe, accident-free environment in compliance with HAZMAT and OSHA regulations, wearing required PPE such as safety vests and hard hats. Pick up debris in the inspection area and maintain a clean work environment while staying aware of moving vehicles. Ensure company policies and procedures are met, fostering productive relationships with customers and vendors.
