Job Summary

Lead end-to-end system integration for the California High-Speed Rail program, managing design assurance, testing, and commissioning from FAT through trial running and operational readiness. Define test acceptance criteria, execute static and dynamic testing including high-speed runs, and oversee staged commissioning aligned with construction sequencing. Drive FRA certification inputs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and safety frameworks prior to revenue service. Coordinate interface control documents, manage contractor delivery schedules, and lead multidisciplinary teams across design, civil works, and operational systems. Support system-wide trial running and operator readiness while maintaining rigorous risk mitigation and reporting to CHSRA leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (or equivalent)
  • 0–15+ years of experience in rail or major infrastructure programs
  • Experience on high-speed rail or equivalent complex rail systems
  • Demonstrated experience in system design, design assurance, and testing & commissioning
  • Proven experience in dynamic testing, trial running, and operational readiness
  • Experience working within FRA or equivalent regulatory frameworks
  • Degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline)

Desired Qualifications

  • Project/Program Management certification (e.g., PMP)
