Job Summary
As a Rail Architectural Technician, you will contribute to the production of drawings, models, and design documentation for rail and station projects. Your responsibilities include supporting the production of architectural drawings, assisting with multidisciplinary design coordination, preparing schedules, reports, and technical documents, and collaborating in internal design discussions. Success in this role requires experience with CAD/BIM tools, an educational background in Architecture or Architectural Technology, and a solid understanding of Building Regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools (Bentley OBD/Aecosim or MicroStation and Revit)
- HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology or other recognized approved equivalents.
- Eligible member of an appropriate professional institution (MCIAT or recognized approved equivalent).
- Understanding of Building Regulations and relevant Technical design guidance.
- Architectural working experience in rail, transport or other complex architectural design.
- Ability to sketch and communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.
