Job Summary
Conduct high-quality imaging procedures for patients and physicians while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Check patient identification and physician orders before proceeding, ask pregnant patients (ages 12-50) about pregnancy status, and document findings. Wear radiation dosimeter badges, provide proper radiation protection, and ensure patient dignity by covering them during exams and transport. Physically manipulate equipment, assist with patient movement from wheelchairs or stretchers to tables, and lift up to 20 pounds. Observe patients on radiology tables, check waiting hallways for comfort, and make appropriate judgments in urgent situations. Perform routine and fluoroscopy studies, assist during downtime, and volunteer for overtime or fill-in shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from a college or university
- Must be in compliance with CE Requirements
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- Possesses general knowledge of many types of x-ray equipment and computers
- Possesses the ability to perform multifunctional tasks to include: physically manipulate and operate equipment, assist in the movement of patients from wheelchairs and stretchers to table; bend, twist, stoop; lift 20 pounds; communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing; make appropriate judgement decisions in urgent or emergency situations; and demonstrate emotional stability and psychological health in day to day interaction with fellow employees, patients, their families, and physicians

Desired Qualifications
- Preference of at least one year work experience in clinic setting after graduation and accreditation; however, willing to train
