Job Summary
Perform Radiology and Computed Tomography (CT) diagnostic and interventional examinations, including C-arm cases in the operating room and medical diagnostic unit. Prepare sterile fields, document procedures, and utilize the STAT RAD System under direct supervision. Provide CT coverage including on-call rotation, holiday, and weekend relief as needed. Assist in record maintenance, participate in student training, and deliver patient care using AIDET principles to ensure comfort and communication. Maintain a safe environment while complying with all health, safety, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be a graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program
- Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license (OBMI)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential in Radiologic Technology (RT)
- ARRT credential in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Cross-sectional imaging experience
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely
- Must be able to lift 1-25 pounds
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk
- Must be able to hear normal speech level
- Must be able to use a clear and audible speaking voice
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must be available for on call coverage
- Must be available for holiday and weekend relief as needed
- Must be available for Monday-Friday shifts
- Must be available for 0630-1500 shift hours
Desired Qualifications
- Basic and advanced seminars in computerized tomography
- Two (2) years' experience in diagnostic radiography
- One (1) year experience as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
- ARRT credential in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- ARRT credential in Bone Densitometry (BD)
- ARRT credential in Mammography (MAM)
- ARRT credential in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV)
- ARRT credential in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
