Job Summary
Assist in patient procedures by preparing patients, instruments, equipment, and medications for radiographs, CTs, ultrasounds, and MRIs. Manage appointments through history taking, medical record keeping, invoicing, and patient discharges while ensuring documentation is accurate and complete. Drive the MedVet Experience by maintaining excellent patient care and compassion within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Proficiency in calculations for drug dosages and unit conversions is required. Comprehensive health benefits, vision, dental, and 401k with employer match are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Prior veterinary experience preferred
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
