Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Execute follow-up calls with urgency, obtain vital signs, document patient history, and assist with transfers and supervised procedures. Ensure equipment functionality, maintain radiation protection standards, and complete required documentation. Maintain current licensure and diagnostic imaging skills. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour/week shifts; PRN staff work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
