Job Summary
Perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies while adhering to proper radiation protection and shielding techniques. Greets patients, communicates wait times, and directs them through the treatment process, providing solutions to problems and seeking help in emergent situations. Executes follow-up calls, obtains vital signs and patient history, and assists with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Ensures equipment is in working order, completes required documentation, and maintains current licensure and certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
