Perform x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Execute follow-up calls, obtain vital signs, and document patient history and allergies. Assist with patient transfers, procedures, and front desk check-in/out processes. Ensure equipment is in proper working order, maintain radiation protection standards, and complete required documentation. Maintain current licensure and certification while improving diagnostic imaging skills through educational resources.
