Radiology Technologist (Xray Technician)

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CTs, and PET scans according to established protocols while operating and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. Prepare and position patients, clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation, and follow strict infection control and radiation safety protocols. Collaborate with physicians to determine the best imaging approach for each patient and maintain accurate records of procedures and patient histories. Stay up to date on advancements in radiologic technology and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Day shift Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient in operating CT equipment, especially in trauma care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Well-organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with nuclear medicine is a plus
