Job Summary
Radiology Technologist responsible for operating X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to assist radiologists in diagnosing and treating patients. Duties include preparing patients, protecting against radiation, taking X-rays, developing/processing radiographic film, ensuring infection control, maintaining records, performing quality checks, maintaining equipment and supplies, and complying with safety standards. Requires an Associate’s degree in radiological technology, a current state X-Ray certificate or license, and 1–3 years of X-ray technician experience; ARRT registration is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in radiological technology from accredited X-ray technician program
- Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license
- One to three years of experience as X-ray technician, preferably in medical practice environment
